Inaugural Frers Cup comes to dramatic conclusion
The inaugural Frers Cup came to a dramatic conclusion on the race course with three Maxis tied on points for second place, with less than a minute deciding the eventual podium positions. Saturday's race was delayed by an hour on Day Two of the Frers Cup but it was well worth the wait. After the gentle north easterly breeze settled, a windward leeward course was laid just off Favignana for the second race of the regatta.
