This week we have updated SYT with no less than 40 superyacht and 10 superyacht concepts. Among these yachts were the 31.20m Codecasa Blue Sky, the 30m Moonen Darsea, two new contracts for Oceanco and six new Heesen orders.

In June we were invited to cruise onboard the new Moonen 97 Darsea. She is an impressive 30m displacement motor yacht designed by an all Dutch team; René van der Velden (exterior), Diana Yacht Design (naval architecture) and Art Line (interior). Two more sisterships are currently under construction, Sofia will be launched later this year and hull 192 will be completed in 2009.

One of the most interesting new superyachts on SYT is the 33.90 meter Absolute Pleasure. Built in 1975, she was one of the last yachts built by Camper & Nicholsons shipyard. For many years it was unknown what happened to the yacht until recently some recent photos showed up of the yacht in Newcastle, UK. Apparently she had been there for the last six years since she had arrived from the Red Sea.

Trinity Yachts in the USA recently sold their 61st yacht to a Middle Eastern client. With her length of 61.80m she will be among the largest yachts build by Trinity Yachts when delivered in 2011. The steel hulled yacht is designed by the in-house team of Trinity Yachts.
