One of our regular readers sent us a photo of a rather unusual superyacht seen in Porto Arabia – The Pearl, Qatar last week. The superyacht is called Shamek and she was converted from a traditional wooden dhow into a luxury motor yacht. It appears that the yacht was converted at the Al Jadaf Drydock in Dubai around 2005 and we estimate she has a length in the region of 35 metres.
