Just like last year we will continue to update you every Friday with the latest yachts we added to our database. In 2008 we will slightly change the format. We will accompany the list of yachts, with photos and facts. We will also include the total number of completed yachts, yachts under construction and yacht concepts in our database. 

This week most of the yachts we have added are build by, or are under construction at, Rodriquez Cantieri Navali. In July 2007 they completed the first yacht from their Collezione series, Amapolla. She was designed by Francesco Paszkowski and she will be based in Greece. Her Greek owner upgraded from a Technema 82. We don’t have a photo of Amapolla yet, feel free to send us a photo of her if you have one. 

The second completed Rodriquez yacht we have added to our database is Light Blue (photo). She was delivered in 2005 and she was supposed to be the first in a series, but she remains the only Rodriquez 38m constructed.  

In our order book we added the Yacht Plus series. Three of them are currently under construction at Rodriquez , two for delivery this year. They were ordered by Yacht Plus, a UK company that is planning to use them for their shared ownership program. 

Meanwhile we are still looking for more information on the 73m explorer yacht supposed to be completed by Rodriquez in 2006,  flying the Maltese Flag (more info at Superyacht Gossip – 9). 

Other yachts added this week include the high speed Bannenberg/Oceanfast Mystique (which became available for sale recently), the new Versilcraft 120 Lady Candy Too (which was delivered in 2007 to her Asian owner), the Westport 112 Kelly Sea (photo) and the gullet Shanti, which was delivered by Neta Marine in 2007.  

The most extraordinary new yacht on SYT is without doubt the Omani Royal Dhow, Zinat Al Bihaar. With a length of 61m she is one of the biggest sailing yachts around, but remains unknown to many. She is usually berthed in Muscat together with the other Royal Yachts,Al Said, Al-Noores & Fulk Al Salamah.
