Update: Aerial photos of Al Mirqab under sea trials |

Early April saw the launch one of the World’s largest yachts, the 133m Al Mirqab. Thursday, almost two months after her launch, Al Mirqab left Peters Schiffbau to conduct her first trials. German superyacht photographer Carl Groll travelled to Wewelsfleth and took these wonderful photos of Al Mirqab heading to open sea.
Al Mirqab features a swimming pool, cinema and is powered by a Diesel Electric propulsion system.
Designed by Tim Heywood, with an interior by Andrew Winch, it’s expected that the yacht will cruise the Mediterranean this summer with her Arabian owner.
