Only recently Dutch yacht industry veterans Duncan Schaaf and Arne Feenstra launched a new management and consultancy company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Dutch Maritime Partners (DMP). They now proudly announce that they have been awarded the contract to manage the 62-metre superyacht Icon, launched by the Icon shipyard in Holland.
Arne and Duncan are no strangers to Icon. They were responsible for the management of the yacht in the past, and have always been in close contact with the yacht’s owner and crew. Delivered in 2010, the Dutch built superyacht was designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon in association with Studio Linse. She offers a bright and spacious interior and accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, and has an excellent charter record.
From their unique philosophy, DMP supplies superyacht Icon and her crew with technical, operational and financial support. Both Duncan and Arne have been involved in the yachting industry for more than 10 years, working at shipyards, overseeing yacht refits and most recently managing a number of large yachts. Within DMP, they are using their expertise to efficiently manage large yachts.
