Lürssen's 70m Martha Ann under sea trials in the Ostsee

First came the 67m Apoise in 2006 then the 70m Saint Nicolas, featured by SYT yesterday, and finally Lürssen launched the third sister ship Martha Ann. Like Saint Nicolas, Martha Ann, also known as project Shark, measures 70m. All three sisters are designed by Espen Oeino and all three feature extraordinary volume.

Martha Ann is powered by twin 1850 HP Caterpillar 3512B DITA Diesels, which give her a cruising speed of 14 knots, with a maximum speed set a 15.5 knots. She offers accomodation for 12 guests, in an interior designed by Zuretti Interior Design, who also designed the interiors of Apoise and Saint Nicolas.

The Lürssen Martha Ann is currently undergoing seatrials in the Ostsee.
