The superyacht catamaran Hemisphere (formerly Project Gemini) will make her public debut at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show, September 21-24. Designed by naval architects Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost (VPLP), Hemisphere is the largest sailing catamaran in the world at 44 metres (145ft).

Her huge size means she can afford every luxury as well as sail or motor at high speeds. Hemisphere was begun at Derecktor in Connecticut, then shipped to England's Pendennis Shipyard where the interior was finished.

Composite Solutions Inc. (CSI) was selected to provide the custom Carbon Fiber rudder blades and special bearing housings for this project. CSI has a long history of providing custom and semi production composite structures to some of the largest and fastest yachts in the world. The capability to produce high quality CNC tooled, autoclave cured composite structures with attention to detail makes CSI an invaluable partner.
