Search for the world’s top superyacht crew starts today
Superyacht captains are being asked to nominate outstanding members of their crew for a new crew competition. Supercrew 2012, organised by yacht management company Krystal Yachts, is open to professional crew who work on any luxury yacht. Each quarter, captains will be able to nominate a crewmember that has demonstrated excellence in their abilities and attitude toward work. The winner selected each quarter will receive an engraved iPad.
Captains are asked to complete a short entry form online and briefly explain their rationale for nominating the crewmember. A panel of judges will review the entries before announcing the winner. Judges include Lauren Beck, Editor of Dockwalk magazine, Don Millar, Operations Director of Viking Recruitment and Krystal Yachts’ Simon Woodhams and Barney Mills. Also on the judging panel is the soon-to-be-announced Superyachts Manager at the Warsash Maritime Academy.
“Supercrew 2012 is all about performance, customer service and going the extra mile — qualities that resonate here at Krystal Yachts,” said Krystal Yachts' Managing Director Simon Woodhams.
