Amartech BV Holland has recently completed the onsite installation of a twin propeller and rudder solution aboard the superyacht FLY 5000 built by Chantier Navale Couach, France. The kevlar moulded yacht, equipped with twin engines delivering more than 10,000 horsepower to reach a top speed of over 30 knots is due for sea trials within 3 months.
Amartech was involved in the development of this project from the early stages back in 2007. They agreed to handle this project completely, not only doing the development, manufacturing and delivery of the complete shaft and rudder system, but also the installation and alignment on site in Gujan Mestras.
Amartech has more than 15 years of experience as a specialist in designing, manufacturing and installing complete propulsion and manoeuvring solutions to the highest international standards. The company has a strong R&D focus and commits itself to bringing leading innovations to the market. Its familiarity with the tiniest details of propulsion techniques makes a valuable business partner that is hired by many well known naval architects, shipyards (and owners) worldwide.
