New superyacht marina opens on Sardinia |

After almost 16 years from inception, the Marina of Olbia in the Port of Olbia on Sardinia, was grandly opened Saturday May 23, in the presence of the Governor of Sardinia, the Mayor of the Olbia, the President of the Port Authority, civil and military authorities and many invited guests. This took place at Olbia's new tourist port, a ceremony that initiated the opening of the new Marina of Olbia.
Following the official opening ceremony, a press conference was held aboard of the sailing ship Signora del Vento which gave the opportunity to the authorities and to the main figures of this initiative, to illustrate both the importance of such projects for the region, and for its development, and the reasons that brought to the work's fulfillment and for the choice of IBS Yachts as the marina managers.
From opening day, the 270 berths and all services are managed by IBS Yachts, offering all the IBS Group services including: technical assistance provided by IBS Servizi located in the same Gulf of Olbia, then Given for Yachting for the charter service and IBS Yachts with a large range of new and used boats, papers handling and assistance in port.
The Marina of Olbia is therefore, from the 23rd of May, a new IBS Yachting Point with qualified staff for the assistance of guests, sales offices and a permanent display of boats for sale. The port offers a fuel station, collection of solid and liquid waste, mooring assistance, shuttle service inside the complex, parking, rest point, radio assistance on vhf channel 9, meteo information service, technical and sales IBS Yachts offices.
The marina operates year round, as the port doesn't have seasons and due to its location only minutes from Olbia's city centre.
