The project to build the Ron Holland designed 45m Motoryacht at RMK Marine is well underway with the main metal structures now complete the yacht has been moved into position in its fit-out workshop. The crew accommodation joinery work is almost complete on the mock-up.
RMK Marine stated “The quality of build on BN80 is outstanding and we have chosen premium quality products to complement this important project”. Halyard are one of Europe's leading designers of marine exhaust systems and have been working for a year with RMK Marine on the bespoke exhaust systems for RMK Marine’s new 45m superyacht. Halyard's work will embrace both main engines and generators, achieving agreed back pressure levels which meet the stringent requirements of the engine manufacturers. The superyacht's systems are also designed to create exceptionally low noise levels from the exhausts, both when underway with the main engines and during the quiet of the evening when the generators are running.
RMK Marine recently launched the 52m Sparkman & Stephens designed ketch, and currently has several superyachts in build including 3 Oyster Superyachts, the first of which is due for launch in 2010. There are also several large refit projects underway.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
