New composite construction facility for RMK Yachts

RMK yachts opened a new composite construction facility at their yard in Tuzla, Turkey. This new composite construction facility houses a 40-metre long oven, and has been purpose designed and built to manufacture the new Dubois/Oyster 100’ and 125’ composite Superyachts to the highest standards of construction.
RMK is currently building a classic style Sparkman and Stevens designed 52m aluminium ketch. The hull is complete and outfitting is well under way. Launch is scheduled for the later part of 2008.
In addition construction of the Oyster 100 hull plug has started with deck plug construction due to start in February. Tooling for the new Oyster 125 will follow directly on from Oyster 100 tooling.
