Roberto Franzoni is the new Marketing and Communication Director of Sanlorenzo Spa, the Italian shipyard located in Ameglia (La Spezia), producer of custom and semi‐custom luxury motor yachts, an atelier of the yachting industry that produces strictly tailor‐made motor yachts and superyachts, according to the request of every single owner.

Roberto Franzoni, boasts a great and attested experience in the international yachting business where he has been operating since 1972 in many important roles. Among the milestones of his career, are the Direction of the historical magazine Uomo Mare (Condè Nast publishing), the first Italian yachting monthly and, recently, the Direction of Yachts Italia (LuxMedia Group publishing), bimonthly dedicated of the superyachts’ market.

Franzoni declares, “Through the years I fed the dream of joining a shipyard directly. Having visiting many of them all around the world as analyst and critic, I came across this opportunity, offered to me by Massimo Perotti, Sanlorenzo Spa President, with whom I have shared experiences and a friendship for more than 25 years, and I have joined with great enthusiasm”.
