As from June 2009, ISA - International Shipyards Ancona, has a new travel lift available for the slipway and launching of ships weighing up to 400 tons. Yet another important service offered by the Ancona based shipyard's After Sales & Refit unit.

The travel lift makes for great flixibility and operative efficiency, as modular length bands can be used and a couple of mobile scales, to allow the slip way to be used by boats of all different shapes and sizes. The movement system allows for all sorts of manoeuvre, including diagonal and 90 degree turns. Within the ISA Shipyard Marina, an 11 metre wide tank has also been created, with a depth of approximately 6 meters, to be used for slipway and launch operations involving the new travellift.

The new service was immediately used by a 44m Heesen, in addition to be used for the launch of an 350 tons supply vessel built by another Ancona based yard.

Many yachts, including Addiction, Ocean Mercury, Audacia, and Sibelle have used the ISA marina since the opening.
