Kuipers Shipyard to build superyachts up to 80 meters

Over the last 25 years, Kuipers Shipyard has successfully delivered many custom and semi-custom build motor yachts which have been characterized as “no nonsense, go anywhere and go anytime” motor yachts. Due to increased requests from many demanding clients, Kuipers Shipyard is aggressively expanding and will be able to construct and deliver a larger number of yachts with lengths of 80 meters and up.

 

This expansion and newly developed strategy will allow Kuipers Shipyard to specialize further in the design, engineering, construction and delivery process of completely executed steel and/or aluminum, first class quality, custom build motor yachts. In addition, Kuipers Shipyard will be developing a streamlined process of high quality semi custom build motor yachts, namely its 43.6 and 60.0 meters semi-custom motor yachts, with the advantage of attractive prices and shorter delivery times.

Currently a 31.1m (102 ft) custom-expedition motor yacht is under construction at the Kuipers facility in Woudsend to a design of Vripack. It is expected that this motor yacht, the second for this owner at Kuipers, shall be launched in November/December.

Kuipers Shipyard’s facility in Woudsend shall be expanded by increasing it’s dry-dock to 45 meters and altering its wet-dock into a dry-dock of similar size. Kuipers Shipyard’s facility in Woudsend shall be occupied with the construction of custom and semi-custom motor yachts from 27 meters to 45 meters in length.

Kuipers Shipyard’s custom and semi-custom motor yachts from 45 meters to 80 meters in length and up shall be constructed at another location in the Netherlands of which no information can be disclosed at this present moment of time.

Each motor yacht is designed to the client’s specifications by the designer and/or Kuipers Shipyard’s Design Team. The construction and commissioning is executed by Kuipers highly skilled craftsman with the highest level of uncompromising quality that Kuipers clients are used to.

As Kuipers Shipyard wants to be a full circle provider in the mega-yacht building industry and because of the increasing refit and repair market, Kuipers Shipyards shall also organize itself towards a main player in the refit and repair market.
