By Maarten Janssen David Goddard, ex Broker and Consultant to Cavendish White / Ocean Independence, has recently departed from his friends at Brokerage division of Cavendish White / Ocean Independence to attend a new future as Consultant to ASP Yacht and Ship Management Group of Scandinavia. ASP Ships have been operational since the 1960s and are rated as one of the top Ship Management operators. Their intention is to offer the Yachting Industry a service modeled to the particular requirements of Super yachts whilst being as user friendly economical and helpful as possible. ASP have offices throughout the world and are also represented in San Remo- Italy and Antibes- France. David commented "I hope to use the past 40 years of experience in Yachting as Captain, Tug Boat Owner, Shipyard Yard Manager, and Project Manager and Broker to the benefit of this new venture". ASP have also engaged the services of Yacht Auditing International to provide advise upon further technical and operational issues supporting the growing infrastructure and ensuring that systems and practices are well implement and carried out to the owners and operators satisfaction. ASP pride themselves on the safe management of ships and hope to bring the same reputation to the Yachting Industry with a particular objective to promote clean seas and environmentally friendly working practices on their managed yachts.
