Maritime Arbitration Association added to California Yacht Brokers Association contracts
Monday, 1 October 2007
Maritime Arbitration Association of the United States (MAA) dispute resolution provisions have been added to the California Yacht Brokers Association's 2008 standard form contracts. Starting in 2008, recreational boaters and yacht brokers in California using CYBA contracts will have the option of resolving their disputes fairly and efficiently with MAA arbitration. For more than a decade the CYBA has provided standard form contracts for use in vessel transactions, including brokerage listings, vessel purchases and sales, and broker-salesperson relationships. The MAA is the national organization of the maritime community for alternative dispute resolution. Additional information at http://www.maaus.com/ About the California Yacht Brokers Association |
