After the recent launches of Amnesia, Alibella and Latinou, Benetti launched another jewel last Saturday, the much anticipated Xanadu. An evolution in design, her interior and exterior are innovatively styled by Andrew Winch. The construction of Xanadu was supervised by Neil Cheston of Camper & Nicholsons International and following her launch sea trials will commence soon before delivery to her owner at the end of August.
The 60m yacht can accommodate 12 guests, served by a professional crew of 16. The lay-out has been conceived to enhance social life aboard, from relaxing in the sundeck pool, to dining in style on the bridgedeck verandah, to chatting at the maindeck bar or going afloat with Xanadu’s extensive range of craft and watersports.
The design of Xanadu’s interior is inspired by the grand hotels of the Italian Riviera. Xanadu’s magnificent staircase is one of her signature features. Crowned by a skylight in the sundeck, it forms a column of natural light in the heart of the yacht. Hand painted decorative panels evoke the theme of the poem Xanadu.
Making her public appearance at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, Xanadu will be available for charter through Camper & Nicholsons International. For more information please visit www.cnconnect.com.
