Yachting Developments waved farewell to their latest performance superyacht to leave Auckland this year, Bristolian. There has been much talk and fanfare about Bristolian as it breaks the mould when it comes to exterior styling; with its futuristic helming pods, low profile and sleek black colour scheme.
Yachting Developments began the Bristolian project in February 2006. She is the largest composite sloop to be built in New Zealand At 120’ Bristolian is a lightweight sloop with a black hull and ultra modern light foam core interior designed by Emma Tabone. She can accommodate eight guests in four cabins and six crew in three cabins. Her interior is Sycamore with Wenge.
Her dark exterior styling, was matched with a full suit of Doyle Stratis GPc black sails sporting an MPS with the Bristolian crest blazoned on it. Bristolian is heading for Australia then onwards to Thailand for the Kings Cup. She will be in the Mediterranean for end of the summer season.
Yachting Developments are now well underway with a Warwick 100’ sailing catamaran and a 121’ Dubois Performance Sloop. For further information on Yachting Developments go to: www.yachtingdevelopments.co.nz
