This morning the second Feadship SL39, Kathleen Anne, was christened at the Royal De Vries shipyard in Aalsmeer. Although Kathleen Anne and the first Feadship SL39, Ocean Mercury, are sisterships there are many differences between them.
There is already a difference in the exterior lines; while Ocean Mercury was designed by De Voogt Naval Architects, the exterior lines of Kathleen Anne were designed by Guido de Groot.
The interior of Kathleen Anne, hull number 676, was designed by Bannenberg Designs, who also designed the interior of the Feadship De Vries build Predator. The third SL39 will be launched next year and she is available for sale.
The SL39 is the second semi-custom series by Feadship, the first series is the F45 Vantage at the Royal Van Lent yard. Both series offer clients a range of different interior styles, and with the SL39, clients can also choose from a range of different exterior styles.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
