Yesterday Alloy Yachts launched a new 40m (131ft) motoryacht, christened Allogante. Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Allogante is a development of the motoryacht Ad Lib, which was launched in September 2005.

Allogante incorporates all the best features of Ad Lib, but also benefits from the latest technology developments and design refinements. The result is an elegant performer, with stylish lines and capable of trans-oceanic cruising in great comfort. Allogante is powered by twin 1400hp Caterpillar diesels and ‘at rest’ stabilisers. She has a cruise speed of 13 knots and a sprint speed of 16.5 knots with a range of approximately 4,000 nm.

The superb Donald Starkey Design interior features macassar ebony and sycamore joinery on the main deck with stained zebrano and European olive for the guest level. Accommodation comprises a spacious owner’s stateroom on the main deck with guest accommodation amidships on the lower deck and divided into four staterooms. All the suites have distinctive marble ensuite bathrooms, full climate control, TVs, entertainment systems and telephones. The fourth stateroom is equipped as a gymnasium, but can be later converted for accommodation, if required.

Allogante is registered in the Cayman Islands and built to Lloyd’s +100 A1 SSC YACHT MONO G6 MCH (<500 gross tonnes) classification.
