On Saturday, February 14, Amels launched another superyacht (hull 455) in their successful Limited Editions 171 series. Introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2005, the 171 has already proven itself to be a highly successful model. Four 171's were launched and delivered since 2007; Deniki, La Mirage, Lady Nag Nag and Were Dreams.

The Vlissingen based shipyard is also working on two other models, the 212 and a slightly extended version of the 171, the 177. The 171, 177 and the 212 are all styled by Tim Heywood.

Amels recently completed the re-building of a classic 68.5m superyacht launched in Italy in 1991, and has an immediate refit slot open. They can accept a superyacht in its largest drydock, which is 215 meters long, 30 meters wide, with air draft of 46 meters.
