On a grey day at the end of January the Istanbul based shipyard Proteksan-Turquoise launched their first superyacht of the year and the second one in their new explorer series; motor yacht Leo Fun. Like her sistership Vinydrea, the exterior lines of Leo Fun are from the drawing board of Paolo Caliari, with the contribution of the shipyard’s own naval architects, and her interior has been styled by Jean Guy Verges.

Leo Fun is a luxury trawler style superyacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. She can accommodate 12 guests in 1 master suite on the main deck, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin on the lower deck.

Built to ABS class and fully MCA compliant, the superyacht will achieve 16 knots powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines, each producing 1,750hp. Her fuel-carrying capacity of 100,000 litres ensures that she has a range of 4,400 nautical miles at a speed of 13.5 knots.

Leo Fun will be available for charters in the West Mediterranean from April, through Monaco based charter company Charter & Charter.
