Over the last few years the Viareggio based Tecnomar shipyard has been working on their largest superyacht to date, the Nadara 43, and last weekend the first hull, Villa sul Mare, from this new line made her first public appearance in Marina di Portofino. The new flagship features spectacular lighting and large glass surfaces. All decks are connected by an imposing spiral staircase.
The sleeping area features 6 staterooms for up to 14 guests. Three twin cabins and a dinette with kitchenette have been reserved for the crew. Between the guest area and the engine room is a buffer area for the crew with a laundry and ironing room.
The main deck reveals somewhat of a retro style; the forward section features a very large kitchen connected to the crew area, with refrigerator cells and a huge galley. Behind the kitchen, the large dining room can seat 14 and can easily be divided into two smaller areas.
Villa sul Mare is powered by twin 3000 hp MTU engines with in-line propulsion. The anticipated maximum speed should be around 28 knots, while the cruise speed is 25.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
