Alex Braden, YPI Group Chairman and Matt Albert, Sales and New Construction Broker with YPI Brokerage, the Sales Division of Yachting Partners International (the YPI Group), have today announced an incredible price reduction on the magnificent 44m Bloemsma Van Breemen new-build: Free Spirit. 
Northrop and Johnson Sales Division has announced the following notable new listing; Devotion. Devotion, (ex: Marjorie Morningstar), is a Sterling Yachts hull originally created by Fexas and Bannenberg. Built by Nishii Shipyards in Japan and recently refit in 2008 by Stabbert Maritime. Devotion is an outstanding example of a modern expedition yacht. 
Dahm International reports an exceedingly successful first business half-year 2009, despite the difficult economic situation. Since the beginning of 2009, the company noted five successful sales of superyachts as central agent. Dahm International´s charter department also reports active demands. 
Bruce Schattenburg is pleased to announce the sale of the 121ft Tri-Deck Motor Yacht Morgan Star. Launched by Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts in 1986, the aluminum-hulled Morgan Star underwent an extensive refit in 2002/2003, including the installation of new 16V Deutz main engines, and her equipment was updated further in 2006 and 2007. 
Ron Rickard of Ardell reports that the price of Garfield has just been reduced with $ 1,000,000 to $ 9,750,000. Garfield was built by Dearsan Yachts in 2005. She boasts a range of more than 5,000 miles and her steel construction provides the security and confidence to take full advantage of her globe hopping capabilities. 
Merle Wood is pleased to announce the sale of the recently completed 160ft Christensen Primadonna. They are also pleased to announce the sale of the brand new 90ft Pershing motor yacht MTG and the 80ft Hatteras motor yacht Angel Wings. New listings include the 214ft Feadship Trident. Currently undergoing sea trials, Trident is jointly listed with Edmiston. 
Listed for sale with Ocean Independence is Cintra, the oldest Vintage international 12 meter class yacht in the world. A finely crafted wooden construction she was originally designed and built for racing by William Fife III in 1909 for a well-known Scottish yachtsman of the time called Andrew Coats. 
In March 2008 SuperYachtTimes.com reported that the 88 metre Maltese Falcon had been listed for sale, asking EURO 115,000,000. Following a price reduction to EURO 99,000,000 early this year, joint CA Bruce Brakenhoff Jr of Perini Navi USA reports that the price has now been set at EURO 70,000,000, making it one of the best buys on the market. 
Over the last few months Fraser Yachts has seen some strong recovery signs for the luxury yacht market for vessels larger than 24m. Fraser Yachts’ CEO Hein Velema comments, “After Q4 2008 saw a steady decline in sales volumes across the industry, there’s been a definite turn since the start of this year." 
Hoek Brokerage is pleased to announce their appointment as the central agent for the sale of Tempest. Tempest is a historic ocean racer designed by Sparkman & Stephens as one of the largest and fastest sailing yachts of her time. With the revival of various Cup’s and Regatta’s, she will be extremely suitable as a fast performer and a head turner. 
Following the news that Dahm International had sold two superyachts and offers were made on Red Sula and Fortuny, Dahm now also reports that an offer has been made on the North Wind 68 Evol. The Jongert Passe Partout is now available for sale, and four new superyachts have been listed with Dahm. 
Engel & Völkers Yachting has sold the Mangusta 105 Fancy One to a Spanish client. The superyacht was sold in partnership with fellow luxury yacht brokerage firm Camper & Nicholsons International. Inigo Nicholson (Engel & Völkers) represented the buyer, with Fernando Nicholson (Camper & Nicholsons) representing the seller. 
Northrop and Johnson Sales Division is delighted to three new superyacht listings; the 75ft Sunseeker Kauhale Kai III, the 82ft Monte Fino Andiamo and the 101ft Palmer Johnson Moon River. Moon River was custom designed by the world famous Hunt Design Group and was constructed to the very high standards of Palmer Johnson. 
Northrop and Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 130ft Alloy Yachts ketch Victoria of Strathearn, by Hank Halsted in the Newport office in conjunction with Fraser Yachts Monaco. More good news from Gregg Morton and Steve Doyle as they report the in-house sale of the 145ft Christensen Aghassi. 
Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage reports that the price of 29m Attila V has been reduced to EU 790,000, as the owner is keen to sell her. The 29 metre Atilla V was built by Chantier Naval de Marseille in 1989 to a design of Michel Bigouin. Powered by twin 750hp Detroit Diesels, she can achieve a top speed of 15 knots and cruises at 11 knots. 
David Price in the Antibes office of BCR Yachts is pleased to announce their appointment as the central agent for the sale of the 54 metre motor yacht Fils de Grace. Originally built as a cable layer by E.J. Smit in 1968, Fils de Grace was converted into a luxury yacht from 2001-2003. The 54 metre superyacht is offered at EU 4,000,000. 
George Fortune of Monte Carlo Luxury Yachts is pleased to announce their appointment as the central agent for the sale of M/Y Spago. The 28 metre Spago was built by Baglietto (hull number 10179) in Italy to a design of Francesco Paszkowski with engineering by Navirex. Spago is listed at EU 3,980,000. 
Burgess is pleased to announce their appointment as (joint) CA for the 54 metre Proteksan-Turquoise Talisman C, the 40 metre Alloy Yachts Ad Lib and the 53 metre Proteksan-Turquoise Pegaso. Further news include the price reduction of Palmer Johnson’s Muse and the addition of Bad Girl to the charter fleet. 
Burgess and Stuart Larsen of Fraser Yachts are pleased to announce their appointment as the joint central agents for the sale of a 70 metre new-build motor yacht. The exceptionally generous superyacht, is under construction at the acclaimed Proteksan-Turquoise shipyard, and due for delivery in Summer 2011. 
Northrop and Johnson is thrilled to announce the following notable sales in April 2009. On April 10, Northrop and Johnson reported the sale of Lara, the 125’ Delta Expedition, by Kevin Merrigan. A few days later, Miss Penny, the 80’ Offshore, was sold by Gregg Child. Later in the month, broker Wes Sanford completed the sale of Babe, the 92’ Monte Fino. 
Follow the announcement yesterday that Fraser Yachts had sold African Queen D, Jan-Jaap Minnema is pleased to announce the sale of his central listing M/Y FanSea. The 33 metre FanSea was built by Cyrus Yachts in 2007 and she was sold to a Russian client who was assisted in the sale by Jan-Jaap Minnema and Juergen Koch. 
Inspired by Jules Verne's "Around the World in Eighty Days", this magnificent 42 metre Jongert ketch was named after one of the main characters: Passe Partout. Living successfully up to her name, her owner, a discerning yachtsman, travelled the Seven Seas with her. Passe Partout offers unrivalled living space and comfort on and below deck. 
Chris Cecil-Wright of Edmiston’s Monaco office is pleased to announce the sale of Heesen’s Blowzy in cooperation with Inigo Nicholson of Engel & Volkers Spain. Built by Heesen and launched in 1998, Blowzy accommodates up to 10 guests in a full beam owners stateroom on the main deck and four further guests cabins on the lower deck. 
Curtis Stokes of TSYGP’s Brokerage Division recently announced two exciting new megayacht listings, including the majestic 153-foot Feadship Paraiso. Designed by renowned naval architect Jon Bannenberg and built in 1983, this yacht underwent a complete refit in 2008. “Her styling is as fresh today as when she was built,” said Stokes. 
Rumours of falling sales in luxury goods are contradicted by news from YPI Brokerage, the Sales Division of Yachting Partners International, which not only reports a number of strong enquiries with several substantial contracts in the pipeline, but also the completed sale this week of the superb 74m Espen Oeino designed super yacht Silver. 
Marc Davidson from the European office of the Luxury Yacht Group is pleased to announce their appointment as the central agent for the sale of a new Heesen 3700. Hull number 14537, with interior and exterior design by Omega Architects, is due for launch in April 2010 and offered at EU 13,900,000. 
During a recent visit to Antibes, our team was invited by Yachtzoo on board Sealion, a 1992 Hakvoort, designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder. We were welcomed on board on her generously proportioned aft deck by Yachtzoo's broker, Dan O'Neill, who gave us a full tour of this beautifully maintained 31.50m Dutch yacht. 
De Valk International has announced the sale of the 36.30-metre twin-screw motoryacht Evanna. This is the second time that De Valk has been responsible for finding a new owner for this elegant yacht within the past year, demonstrating the value of the company’s global network and close contacts with clients.

Silver Angel is a 64.5m heavy displacement Benetti, designed specifically for extensive world cruising and ideal for charter purposes offering the highest levels of comfort in all areas for both guests and crew. At a staggering 1400 GRT she is one of the highest volume superyachts of her length in existence maintaining good proportions and sleek profile. 
Burgess have announced their appointment as the central agent for the sale of M/Y Z. She is currently under construction at Marco Yachts in Chile and is scheduled for completion in 2010. Both the exterior and interior of Z have been designed by Ken Freivokh. The 85m yacht will be able to accommodate 14 guests in 1 master suite and 6 guest staterooms. 
Ocean Independence (OCI) is pleased to announce the sale of the 34.5 metre classic Feadship Celine Ashley this week. She was centrally listed with OCI new build director Peter Thompson and OCI broker David Goddard, while Peter Thompson also acted on behalf of her new American owner. Built in 1979, Celine Ashley was refitted in 2006/7. 
David Nicols and Kevin Bonnie's central listing, M/Y Stanley was recently sold by Kevin Bonnie and Sofia Lembrin of IYC Monaco; Stanley is a 120' (36.5m) Palmer Johnson built in 2005. She is powered by 2 12V4000 DDEC M90 Marine Diesels 2750 bhp @ 2100 rpm. Her hull is aluminum with an FRP composite superstructure.
Northrop and Johnson Boston is thrilled to announce the sales of two superyachts; the 151ft Feadship M/Y Time For Us and the 123ft Palmer Johnson M/Y Big City. Time For Us was sold by Steve Doyle, who also signed up the central agency for the 97ft Hargrave M/Y Gigi, and George Georges sold Big City. 
Burgess have announced that their central agency listing motor yacht Bad Girl was sold with IYC acting on behalf of the buyer. The 56 metre Bad Girl was built by Brooke Marine in 1992 as Chamar to a design of Don Shead. With a stunning interior by Luigi Sturchio, 6 staterooms, a gym, cinema and a vast 60ft sundeck, she is a truly unique yacht. 
In 2001 Heesen Yachts launched a 37.70 metre explorer superyacht for a Dutch owner. Whilst most owners like the styling of explorer yachts, they often don’t use them for worldwide expeditions; however this hasn’t been the case with AlumerciA. In the past 8 years the Vripack/Omega designed superyacht has cruised all over the world.

The Northrop and Johnson Sales Division announce a unique opportunity and a first in yacht brokerage history with a buy one get one free deal. The owner of Lara, the 125-foot Delta Expedition Yacht, has reduced her price to $7,750,000 and will throw in Jo-Jo, the 60-foot Tempest, for free. Both yachts are listed with Kevin Merrigan. 
CNI welcome a selection of new central agencies. CNI Antibes lists four new yachts, including the 30.2m (99’) Queen South. Built by Versilcraft in 1987 and refit with new MAN engines in 2007, she is listed by Charles Ehrardt and Tim Langmead. Along the coast, CNI Cannes lists the 1985 Amels built 56.73m (186’) Cleopatra C. 
OCI started the new year with the sale of a distinctive motor yacht; the revamped 56.4m Halter Marine support vessel Amevi Surprise, brokered for the buyer by OCI’s UK based New Build director Peter Thompson, she was built in 1981 and completely overhauled to ABS class at Quality Shipyards in 2004. 
Windrose of Amsterdam, a 46m Dykstra designed classic record beater, has been built for the experienced founder of the HJB Shipyard to win the most popular 'Spirit of Tradition' regattas. Clever engineering and built with the best, lightweight materials, all shaped for speed. The water ballast system ensures maximum performance. 
Northrop and Johnson Sales Division is pleased to announce three new listings for sale; the 131ft Oceanfast Opal C, the 115ft Crescent Kapalua and the 98ft MCP Yacht Obrigado. Opal C, a 1990 131-foot Oceanfast, has been centrally listed with Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford. Opal C is a true Bannenberg design being sold by the original owner. 
Following a very successful introduction at the 2008 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Vripack Brokers announce their appointment as world wide central agent for the sale of the Doggersbank Offshore 102’ Beothuk. A full displacement long range yacht which was launched in 2008 and can be considered new.

The upgraded interior is spacious and comfortable accommodating up to 12 guests in six staterooms. 
Mike Rich of YPI Brokerage is proud to announce his new joint-CA, new-build 36.5m AB116 due for delivery October 2009. The AB116, with Kevlar-Carbon hull, is the ultimate open boat with fly-bridge. She packs some power and presence reaching a maximum speed of 40 knots powered by 3 x 2400 HP MTU engines and MJP water-jets.
