From the Ocean Independence Antibes office comes the news that yacht broker Jeroen Minnema has signed the central agency agreement for a brand new Akhir 108 superyacht.

The composite high performance yacht is powered by twin 2,400hp MTU engines which provide a maximum speed of 28 knots. Designed by Carlo Galeazzi, the Akhir 108 is built to ABS class and will be ready for delivery in March 2010.

The Akhir 108 accommodates eight guests in four staterooms on the lower deck; two twins, a VIP and a full-beam owner’s suite. Two further guests can be accommodated by transforming the owner’s study on the main deck into a double stateroom with private bathroom.

The Akhir 108 is asking EU 9,800,000.
