On 30th December 2009, Robert Shepherd of the Edmiston New York office, together with central agent Bob Murray of Merritt Yacht Brokers, closed the sale of the 51.25 metre superyacht Jamaica Bay.

A new Jamaica Bay, the third, is currently under completion at the Nobiskurg shipyard in Germany. The 59.50 metre superyacht features interior and exterior design by Felix Buytendijk.
