Chris Cecil-Wright of Edmiston & Company has just announced that he and Rupert Nelson of Burgess sold the 60.97 metre superyacht Phoenix. Phoenix, a joint listing of Burgess and Moran Yacht & Ship, had an asking price of € 55,000,000. The news follows just days after the former owner’s new superyacht, the 87.20 metre Lürssen Phoenix2 commenced sea trials.

The 60.97 metre Phoenix was built by the Lürssen shipyard in 2004 with interior and exterior design by Andrew Winch Designs. Phoenix accommodates 12 guests, in 1 master, 1 VIP, 3 doubles and 1 twin cabin, and 16 crew members.

Her twin 2,364hp MTU 12V 4000 M70 enable her to achieve a top speed of 16 knots, cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 7,700nm at 13 knots.
