Chris Cecil-Wright of Edmiston & Company has just announced that he and Rupert Nelson of Burgess sold the 60.97 metre superyacht Phoenix. Phoenix, a joint listing of Burgess and Moran Yacht & Ship, had an asking price of € 55,000,000. The news follows just days after the former owner’s new superyacht, the 87.20 metre Lürssen Phoenix² commenced sea trials.

The 60.97 metre Phoenix was built by the Lürssen shipyard in 2004 with interior and exterior design by Andrew Winch Designs. Phoenix accommodates 12 guests, in 1 master, 1 VIP, 3 doubles and 1 twin cabin, and 16 crew members.

Her twin 2,364hp MTU 12V 4000 M70 enable her to achieve a top speed of 16 knots, cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 7,700nm at 13 knots.
