Simpson Marine, exclusive dealers for many of the world's leading luxury yacht brands in Asia, including Azimut, Benetti, Beneteau, Lagoon and Sea Ray, has announced the opening of a new Singapore branch office at the exclusive ONE15 Marina Club in Sentosa, that will add to the high-end services of the ever-present Raffles Marina office. Alan Pickering, Director of Simpson Marine Singapore, says the move to the heart of the city is in direct response to the growing demand of the expanding leisure marine industry. "Singapore is fast becoming a strong yachting hub in the region and we plan to extend our brokerage, management and maintenance services within the Island to satisfy the evolving needs of our clients and the booming market."
Ideally located in the city, the new premises also berth the flagship Azimut 116 superyacht delivered by Simpson Marine last April for the 2007 Boat Asia Show, where it is available for private and corporate charter. "The Asia market is of increasing importance for many of our brands, and it was necessary to open a second office to meet this growing trend in Singapore and within the region." adds Pickering.
The new Simpson Marine office, which embraces the sleek Azimut-inspired contemporary design, is an extension of the busy Raffles Marina office, and will function as a service and marketing hub. "We chose ONE15 Marina Club for its central location and close proximity to the 116," says Pickering. "It is a natural extension of our services seeing as many of our clients are also berthed in the city."
With another coveted Christofle Asia Boating Award to their name for 'Best Yacht Management Services' - winning the category twice running - Simpson Marine continues to take pride in providing these standards, and is active in maintaining such a position in the region.
In addition to the new Singapore branch office, Simpson Marine has also opened a Simpson Marine Service Centre in Hong Kong, where it boasts a spacious workshop, dry storage area and lifting gantry for boats up to 27ft; and recently announced the relocation of its luxury yacht charter business headquarters from Monaco to Asia, which will be based in Langkawi and Phuket.
