CNI is delighted that the 56m (183’) Selene from Perini Navi won the Best Sailing Yacht Interior category at the World Superyacht Awards in April 08. A favourite in the CNI fleet, Selene was built in collaboration with a CNI broker and, following her launch in 2007, she has become a highly popular charter yacht. Selene will be racing in the Perini Navi Cup in Porto Rotondo later this year.

CNI is also pleased to congratulate Fadi Pataq, the winner of the Young Designer of the Year Award – one of the divisions of the World Superyacht Awards. With more than 60 designs submitted from all around the world, this is a great achievement for Fadi. Watch out for his name.

Recent listings
CNI welcome several new central agencies including the 45.73m (149’) Perfect Persuasion listed by Toby Walker from CNI London. Built in 1997 by the renowned Australian builder Oceanfast, and refitted in 2006, Perfect Persuasion is an extremely popular yacht for charter. Understated yet elegant accommodation, complemented by spacious outside deck areas, encourage her guests to relax and kick back in style. She accommodates ten guests in five luxuriously appointed staterooms.

Steen Christensen from CNI Palma, along with CNI Golfe Juan, are delighted to announce the listing of the 40m (131’) Namasté from Tamsen Yachts. Due for delivery in June 2008 Namaste will turn heads in every port with her light brown hull and sleek design including many new ideas and concepts. She will cruise at 23 knots and reach speeds of up to 26 knots.

Staying with the CNI Palma office, Jonathan Syrett announces the new listing of the 27.38m/89.8’ Alhena from Astondoa. Built in 1994 and refitted in 2007, she cruises at 16 knots and reaches speeds of up to 22 knots. Her most prominent features include her huge aft-deck cockpit, large solarium with ample seats on the flybridge, large bow and stern sun bathing areas, and a spacious interior with five staterooms.

Over on the other side of the Atlantic, Bill Sanderson of CNI Palm Beach announces the joint listing of the 45.3m (148.5’) Helios. Built by Perini Navi in 2007, and designed by Ron Holland and the Perini Navi design team, at the time of her build she represented a major breakthrough in the development of the Perini line, with a vast improvement to the layout of the 45.3m sloop in both the saloon and cabin deck, as well as an added flybridge.

The CNI New York office, in collaboration with CNI Golfe Juan, announces the sale of the 54.2m (177’) Ability from CRN. Mike Payne of CNI Monaco announces the sale of the 25.15m (82.4’) Sedation from Sunseeker. CNI’s US offices have been busy. Jim Wallace of CNI Palm Beach announces the sale of the 23.77m (77.9’) Hatteras, Free Spirit, whilst John Kropf of CNI Fort Lauderdale has sold the 24.1m (79’) Knee Socks from Kha Shing.

Charter News
Expect to see some new names among existing favourites as the CNI charter division in Monaco welcomes the 42m (138’) Mac Brew from Heesen. Previously named A Khaliq, she has an unusual layout accommodating 12 guests, and is perfect for a large family group as one of the cabins has four bunk beds. Mac Brew is available in the West Med this summer. The 31m (102’) Hero is also joining the charter fleet. Launching in July 2008, she will be available for charters in the West Mediterranean throughout August and September. Hero will sleep ten guests in five staterooms.

Further afield
Having been bought by a new owner, the 49.8m (164’) Braveheart is planning to venture further afield to South East Asia and will be available for charters around Phuket.

Braveheart accommodates ten guests over three decks, topped by a wonderful sun-drenched flying bridge deck – ideal for the waters off Thailand’s south-western coast.
