Fraser Yachts is proud to announce the appointment of Hein Velema as Commercial Director, based in Monaco. Hein joined Fraser Yachts as Director of Sales in 2007, quickly making a positive impact on the company and providing excellent support to the company’s global network of brokers. As the new Commercial Director, Hein will assume overall responsibility for the Charter Division and Marketing Department in addition to his current sales responsibilities.

Immediately after joining Fraser Yachts, Hein gave an impulse to the new construction activity, leading to eight new contracts. He also assisted Fraser Yachts in gaining market share by hiring ten new sales brokers, including some of the most well-known leading brokers in the U.S.

His solid foundation has allowed him to play an inspiring role setting out Fraser Yacht’s strategy to integrate services to focus on changing customer demands. Even though Hein now has a broader responsibility, his dedication to assisting the sales division remains at the forefront. Hein says “To understand what a client wants and to create what he expects is what drives me”.
