Team Burgess race ahead with Fittipaldi Yachts

Thursday, 25 October 2007

The ‘new’ Burgess team is racing ahead, having added another successful new build commission to their credit with the sale of one of Wilson Fittipaldi’s new ‘’F110’’ motor yachts. With two F110’s now under construction and plans for two spectacular new designs of both 125ft (F125) and 150ft (F150) recently added to their range, the future certainly looks bright for the dynamic Fittipaldi yard in Brazil.

Designed by Luiz De Basto, the Fittipaldi range will appeal to the global yachting market. Long range, great stability, a flexible layout and sound engineering all combine to make the new F110 one of the most exciting yachts to hit the market in many years.

Whilst the new owners of the Burgess F110 build intend their yacht to truly be a ‘world cruising’ platform, they first plan to take advantage of the beautiful cruising grounds close to the shipyard in Brazil’s Angra dos Reis, which offers a stunning coastline and some 350 tropical islands.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2007 saw the first public presentation of the Fittipaldi F125 and the model was showcased on the spectacular Burgess stand. Expect to see both Fittipaldi and Burgess on the ‘podium’ in the near future!
