Northrop and Johnson welcomes new addition to the placement division

Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection is proud to announce Jayne Grimley has joined the Placement Team as a Crew Placement Coordinator.

Jayne spent most of her childhood cruising on the waters of Newport, Rhode Island. At the age of 15, Jayne set sail on a 33’ Sailboat via the Intracoastal Waterway from New England to Florida and continuing on to the Bahamas for a year.

She began her yachting career in 2005, as a freelance stewardess on board a yacht bound to Martinique. In early 2006, Jayne travelled travel from the east coast of the United States to the west coast onboard another yacht as a full time stewardess. Upon completing journey, she became land-based and accepted a position to head crew placement services for Merrill Stevens Yachts in San Diego.

Based out of San Diego, Jayne is eager to utilize her first-hand knowledge and experience of yacht crewing to assist clients in their yachting decisions. Through Northrop and Johnson’s expanded network of offices in U.S. and Europe, Jayne is poised to assist owners, captains, and yachting professionals secure the best match, with confidentiality, integrity and unparalleled dedication.
