By Maarten Janssen, photos by Carl Groll Following her launch at the end of May, The Lürssen Arkley, has now started her seatrials. Arkely is a sistership to Linda Lou (launched 2006) and both superyachts have been designed by Espen Oeino. Arkley has a length of 197’ and Espen Oeino has successfully created a very voluminous yacht, which not only accommodates all of the owner’s requirements, but still maintains sleek and strikingly elegant lines. She is built in full accordance with the rules of Lloyds Register and the MCA. The interiors are designed by Mark Berryman in a fresh contemporary style which is carried throughout the whole yacht and gives it a youthful feel. Arkley is scheduled for delivery in time for the Mediterranean Summer season, and she will be presented at this year's Monaco Yacht Show by her builder. Lürssen staff will be available at their new double storey stand outside near the T-dock to discuss individual yachting needs. Lürssen has earned its reputation world-wide for its high-class tailor-made superyachts. The combination of constant innovation over the last 130 years, the high quality of the work, the dedicated work force, its discretion, and especially the close interaction with the client are highly valued by its customers.
