After almost two years of intense construction, Horizon Group announced the launching of the first Horizon Premier 130+, Miss Rose, in December 2007. In elaborate ceremonies at the Kaohsiung Shipyard on February 26, 2008, the yacht made her public debut. This Horizon Premier 130+ tri-deck motoryacht, with her actual overall length of 132-feet is the largest megayacht ever built in Taiwan. 
Queen of Andaman is a new luxury superyacht which offers clients a unique yachting experience in the South East Asian region. At 41meters long, she has been beautifully designed with spacious decks, offering up to 10 guests’ uncompromising luxury. Queen of Andaman is available for charter from June 2008. 
Following the busy racing schedule of both Ranger and Velsheda during the last few seasons, there has been an explosion of interest in the J Class. With two new replicas under construction, the J Class Association (JCA) has issued a definitive list of J yachts from history which can be built as replica new builds under their rules. This provides a listing of interesting historical data and details of yachts. 
The latest Tecnomar model is a 43-meter motoryacht entirely made of fiberglass. The Nadara 43 is scheduled for delivery in July 2008. Like the other Nadara models its exterior profile has been designed to maintain cleanliness and tradition. The superyacht is designed to accommodate 14 guests and 6 crew members. 
Launched in 1953 by the Benetti M&B shipyard as a small tug, only the exterior of D.P. Monitor reminds of her history as a tug. In the early nineties she was converted into a luxury explorer yacht and under her current managers, Floating Life, her yacht capabilities were further improved over a 3 year refit plan. 
One of the most technically‐sophisticated superyachts ever launched has just completed sea‐trials and is now being shipped to the Mediterranean. The creation of this groundbreaking vessel was entrusted to three leading names in the area of high‐performance yachting; designers and naval architects Humphreys Yacht Design, builders McMullen & Wing and composite engineers High Modulus. 
Back in the late 1980s, a Greek-based group known as Lyktos International Yachting Enterprises was set up to own and operate a fleet of relatively large charter yachts. The company ordered three vessels to be named Lyktos I (38,10m), Lyktos II (32,10m) and Lyktos III (38,10m). The yachts were to be built at the Pecal Shipyard in Chalkis, Greece. 
Since a few weeks Predator is undergoing several trials, first in Rotterdam and now in Amsterdam. Like most Feadships, she is being completed at Feadships outfitting quay in the commercial port in Amsterdam. Designed to serve the needs of a new generation of yachtsmen, the Royal Huisman 180’ focuses design attention on energy efficient yachting in a lavish cocoon of luxury afloat. 
Lürssen Yachts delivered Saint Nicolas, its new 230’ motor yacht in May 2007. Saint Nicolas, whose project name was Nemo, is the second of three more or less identical yachts, which were ordered by one client at the North German shipyard Lürssen. The first launched was Apoise (project name Marlin) in April 2006 and the third one will be Martha Ann (project name Shark) which will be delivered in April 2008. 
Sunseeker the British builder of production yachts has added a second superyacht to its range having unveiled the all new 34 metre at the London Boat Show on January 11th. Sunseeker chose to employ vocalists Teatro to sing at the opening ceremony on board the company’s other new launch; the new 86 foot Sunseeker, after Take That, the multi-platinum selling boy band pulled out of the opening ceremony.
