Superyacht of the Week: The Filippetti Navetta 26

The brand new Filippetti Yachts vessel might best be described as ‘smart’, on multiple levels. Roughly, the Filippetti fleet can be divided into three different segments; Deamon open yachts, Evo fly bridge yachts and now Navetta green yachts. With a founder that has over 30 years of experience on the nautical market, new endeavours by these skilled Italians prove to be exciting and worth keeping an eye on.
With the Navetta 26, the Italy-based shipyard presents the first model in the green series, a line of eco-chic yachts that emphasizes environmental friendliness and sustainability in a contemporary and fresh way. With her reduced emissions and consumption, she is as fresh 26 metres vessel, combining a distinctively fun take on design with an ecologically smart concept. With a “Green Yacht Star”-registration certified by the Italian Ship Registry Association, green is a given.
Filippetti Yachts are authentic in design, something that is once again proven by the latest addition to their fleet. Always collaborating with renowned designers, each and every end result turns out to be uniquely individual and up to high standards. By taking on a green approach with regards to yacht design and performance, the shipyard once again finds itself on an exciting new endeavour.
Externally, the Navetta 26 shows round curves with a look that is compact without being bulky, a refreshing design concept, resulting in a vessel that does not pretend to be anything than what she actually is; elegant, compact and versatile in one attractively charming package.
With four cabins, consisting of the owner’s cabin on the main deck, and additionally one full beam VIP-cabins, one double and one twin cabin located on the lower deck, there is ample space for a considerably sized company of eight. All three double beds found on the Navetta 26 are king size and each cabin has en suite bathroom with luxurious shower, with a walk-in closet and office area for the VIP cabin.
One of the most attractive features regarding the owner’s cabin, which takes up an impressive 40% of the yacht’s total volume, is the remarkably spacious bathroom area which can be reached through a stairway below deck. With the owner’s cabin being situated two steps above the main saloon level, panorama views can optimally be enjoyed from every angle inside these quarters, yet insuring maximum privacy.
Classically style with a modern touch, styled in a refreshingly bright, clean colour palette is the main ingredient for the Navetta 26’s interior design. Thanks to the large side windows and portholes decorating the sides of the vessel, every space in supplied with ample quantities of natural light. The main saloon, consisting of a comfortably furnished sitting area and an eight-person dining table, shows a light and airy atmosphere, classic yet contemporary. The vessel’s interior colour palette is nicely balanced with dark wooden floors and framed ceilings, resulting in pleasant surroundings that feel remarkably spacious for a vessel of this size.
Reaching the sun deck through the intimate aft deck area, one is presented with a large aft sun bed area, supplying guests with ample opportunities to enjoy the sun and a cool breeze while fully enjoying the surrounding views.
A centrally placed dining table enables intimate al-fresco dinners, enjoyed with maximum privacy in the shade. An L-shaped corner sofa and fully equipped bar complete the array of amenities the sun deck has to offer.
Forward on the main deck, a generously sized cockpit can be found. Here, a soft breeze and vista views are the basic ingredients for time spent relaxing and enjoying. Offering so many features normally found on much larger yachts, the Navetta 26 is bound to become a highly popular pocket sized superyacht.
