With the remarkable 70.5 metres superyacht Talisman C, Turkish shipyard Proteksan-Turquoise delivered their biggest project last year. With exteriors and interiors being designed by H2 Yacht Design, this vessel, like most other projects from the shipyard, was built for a repeat client which proves the yard's dedication and high quality results.
Her exterior lines show a character which is fresh and modern with a hint playfulness. With her crisp white hull and clean, contemporary lines she confidently rides the waves of the sea, comfortably accommodating a company of up to 12 guests onboard. One of her most striking features are the sumptuously spacious outside deck areas, which are amply present throughout Talisman C's decks. From her main and upper aft decks to her large sundeck and even a intimate and cozy hardtop, guests will undoubtedly spend a considerable amount of time onboard outside, enjoying space, luxury and vista views as just some of her many luxurious amenities.
And with the signature triangular bimini-shades available throughout, guests have a choice to enjoy either sun or shade without necessarily having to move to different areas, ensuring enjoyment of eachother's company whenever desired. This seems to be a key element of Talisman C's approach with regards to design and comfort, aiming for a way to bring guests together and have them enjoy each other's company while also assuring all the required privacy one could hope for. All this highly adds to the core of her onboard atmosphere, which boasts a pleasant sense of hospitality as one of her key ingredients.
Talisman C's main aft deck area is exemplary for her grace, with lots of space, several setups for guests to enjoy some time relaxing, prepare for a swim or meet up for some pleasant onshore sauntering.
From here, large glass semi-circular sliding doors lead into the main saloon, which might be best described as tastefully refined, soothingly intimate and highly spacious with a dash of grandeur. In one large area, the centrally placed, main sitting area, aft bar plus games table and fore dining area can be found, all designed in a delicate scheme of black and off-whites and with use of soft shapes and plush materials.
The overall character feels as a mix between classic forms and modern colours and materials, both calm and slightly grand. From the creamy, subtly patterned carpeting, glimmering ceilings and curvy furnishings to the intricate lighting scheme, this is a space that exudes luxury in an inviting manner, for guests to enjoy without distracting. There is a sense of art deco styling, although less ornate but enjoyably with the similar sense richness and glamour with regards to shapes and materials. The circular dining table can be adapted to fit the size of the company, ranging from 6 to twelve guests.
The richness and finesse of Talisman C can be arguably best illustrated by the remarkable custom made chandelier, which can be found in the central lobby connecting all decks. Traveling through three floors right in the centre of the spiral staircase, this rich and delicate piece of art consists of countless crystal balls, fixed to seemingly portray either upwards floating bubbles one moment, while transforming into a shapely, abstract waterfall the next. A fascinating, rich and dynamic piece, elegantly accompanying guests when moving between decks.
Guest cabins are configured into one owner's suite and one VIP found on the fore main deck plus two doubles and two twins located on the central section of the lower deck. The lower deck guest staterooms, all adjacent to the central spiral staircase, are all equally spacious, light and luxurious. With ample closet space, en suite bathrooms with either a spacious shower or a large bathtub, the atmospheres in these suites are as inviting and stately as the signature main deck interior, with the familiar combination of dark and light tones for a distinguished colour palette, with one distinct colour added in each cabin for a personal touch. In all, a light and inviting hideaway, where each guests can enjoy ample privacy with every comfort imaginable right at their fingertips.
Similar to the lower deck guest staterooms, the fore main deck houses the VIP suite, large and light with a sumptuously large bathroom. This is also where the jewel on the superyacht's crown can be found, the master suite. Taking the onboard concept of space, luxury and style to another level, this area consists a central lobby, leading into a remarkably spacious stateroom, including dramatic panorama views, ample amounts of natural light, an equally large bathroom.
The split-level bathroom features a big bathtub and all-around glass shower space, glamorously spiced up with dashes of golden tiling and a sparkly yet subtle lighting scheme and a grand private library and office space. To top things off, a big dressing room can be found here, perfectly completing this sanctuary of privacy, luxury and class.
Upstairs, several more guest areas are available, set in a more informal tone. With a game room fore and a lounge-atmosphere upper deck saloon with adjacent dining area, offer guests ample enjoyment and relaxation, intimate yet lush and luxurious. Outside, the aft deck is the main attraction of this deck, with a complete assortment of sitting arrangements, lounging areas, large sofas, a fully equipped bar and the possibility for an al fresco dining table, all framed with panoramic views and ample space. A perfect area for parties, informal dining, setting an ambiance of informal, luxurious sociability for all guests onboard.
Moving upstairs, the sundeck is a nirvana for those keen on enjoying the finest things in life. Large sunpads in sun and shade, an extra al fresco dining arrangement, lounging areas, a bar, with the big Jacuzzi surrounded by a sea of sunpads as main attraction, are all available for guests' enjoyment. Talisman C truly has a more than complete range of amenities, with a particularly special extra hidden away right above the sundeck. Here, a supremely private extra area can be found.
This hardtop uncovers to be an extra sundeck, small, intimate, and fitted with two extra sets of sunpads fore and aft. With 360 degrees surrounding views, guests can fully understand what supreme privacy really is.
With her delicately designed, art deco-inspired interiors, her confident exterior look and a friendly character of space, luxury and privacy, Talisman C is a remarkable superyacht. As her name invokes, she might be a bringer of good luck and fortune... But she is quite certainly bound to be a giver of true happiness and joy for all her guests.
