At the last Monaco Yacht Show, Tankoa Yachts, a new Italian shipyard based in Genoa, presented their first superyacht; the 65 metre Tankoa S65. She is a twin screw displacement motor yacht built to both RINA and Lloyd’s rules. The superyacht will have a high tensile steel hull with a light weight alloy superstructure. Read More

The Horizon Group held a traditional Chinese ceremony to celebrate the start of construction of its latest new model – the Bandido 148 Explorer. The first steel for its hull was cut on November 17. CMN presents the Line 60 range of motor yachts

After the launching of the 58m (190ft) Netanya 8 in February 2007, CMN has developed a new range of motor yachts, the CMN Line 60 with three units in construction: Slipstream, Cloud 9 and Project 803. The Motor Yachts have been studied in cooperation with the designer Andrew Winch. The yachts can accommodate an owner’s party of up to twelve guests. Read More

Ginton Naval Architects in Holland has received an order for the design of a 40 metre Motor Yacht. The design concept is based on the succesful M/Y Metsuyan IV and she will also be built at CBI Navi, part of Fipa Group, in Italy. She has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, 2 Caterpillar C32 engines, 850 hp each, ZF 4:1 gearboxes and Caterpillar C4.4 generators. Read More
