Benetti Sail Division has signed a contract for the construction of a new BSD98 Logica, the first superyacht of the new Logica range, for an Italian owner. Most of the engineering of the 29.76 metre yacht has been completed and the shipyard will commence the construction soon. The luxury motor yacht is due for delivery in time for the 2012 Summer season.

Unusual for a yacht of this size, the owner opted to have the master suite forward on the lower deck instead of forward on the main deck. With all guest accommodation, 4 cabins in total, on the lower deck, the crew accommodation has been moved to the forward section of the main deck.

To increase the natural light in the cabins on the lower deck, there are large windows in the hull and mirrors have been place in the narrow corners of the yacht to reflected the light into the cabins. With large windows around the main deck, there will be an abundance of light in the main saloon and dining area.

The exterior lines of the BSD 98 Logica, and the other models in the Logica range, have been designed by Luca Brenta Yacht Design.
