Earlier this week, the hull of the first Overmarine Mangusta 148 Oceano arrived at the Viareggio yard. The 148 is 45.5 metres long, and will be powered by twin MTU 12V4000 M53R diesels. Benetti recently unveiled plans for a full new range of superyachts, the Benetti Class. The new Benetti Class will consist of seven models ranging from 90ft to up to 164ft. This new and second floating dock for the Rendsburg facility has a length of 150 metres, width of 35 metres and a height of 40 metres. The first superyacht to be completed in this new dock is J-24. RMK Marine have used a new application method for the hull painting for Nazenin V the Sparkman & Stephens 52m ketch currently under construction. The Awlgrip paint team were on hand throughout the process which was carried out by subcontractors Karma at the Tuzla yard. The whole process took 6 hours to spray the 52m ketch. Read More
