Porto Cupecoy is offering mega yacht slips for purchase at its new marina village, opening in December 2009, which will be the only resort-style marina catering to mega yachts on St. Maarten in the Caribbean. To celebrate the launch of these slips, Porto Cupecoy is offering a free residence with the purchase of a mega yacht slip. 
Sales of the 900 berths in a purpose built luxury marina on the beautiful Tunisian Mediterranean coastline are underway with Morley Yachts. Marina Bizerte promises huge cost savings to owners, an unrivalled central Mediterranean location, and state of the art, modern facilities. The construction is guaranteed to be completed by May 2011. 
Over twenty years ago, the shortage of moorage for larger vessels, drove entrepreneurs and avid boaters, Steve Thorpe-Doubble and Terry Petras, to look for a solution to the increasing demand. Situated on the island Barbados, Port St. Charles is a luxury residential marina with waterfront properties. There is a breakwater facility which includes 6 berths for yachts from 60-250’ LOA, with a maximum draft of 13.5ft. Outside the breakwater, Port St. Charles maintains three serious moorings suitable for boats in excess of 300 feet. 
Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club is situated in town of Sibenik, between two national parks – Kornati and Krka in Middle Dalmatia. Sibenik County is the most attractive part of Adriatic coast and the most recommended Croatian nautical destination, chosen as the “world’s number one sailing destination” by National Geographic magazine. 
Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona has reached an agreement with Fraser Yachts to promote the marina amongst its clients worldwide. Both companies have agreed to work together in positioning Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona as a reference marina for elite yachting in the Mediterranean. 
Vilanova Grand Marina, the new marina conceived and designed exclusively for superyachts, will open for business at the beginning of April 2009, just after attending the Antibes Yacht Show. The marina goes to Antibes pursuing its mission to become a key player within the superyachts international market. 
Dubai Maritime City, the world’s first purpose-built maritime centre and part of the Dubai World Group of companies, has announced a major milestone in the project’s development; the completion of phase one of its marina comprising 44 berths. A total of 1,000 berths are set to be featured within Dubai Maritime City.

The new full-service, five-star Marina Papagayo was a thriving hub of nautical activity and excitement as mega-yachts began gliding into the docks at Costa Rica’s finest luxury marina on the Pacific coast during its official opening Monday, Dec. 15. The marina, with an initial 180 wet slips, welcomed several yachtsmen who had reserved slips.

Phase II of marina renovations at Old Port Cove’s south basin in North Palm Beach, FL were completed this week just in time to welcome seasonal boaters back to South Florida. This completes Old Port Cove’s $22 million two-year renovation. “This is a very exciting time for us and our clients as well,” said Old Port Cove Holdings President.
