The construction of the first Sunrise 63 metre superyacht is progressing rapidly at Sunrise Yachts in Turkey. Project 601 is the first of two 63 metre superyachts currently under construction. The second 63 metre project was announced only weeks ago.

The 63 metre Espen Øino designed project 601 was sold by Simon Goldsworthy of Camper & Nicholsons International to her European owners in 2010. Construction started in 2011.  The yacht will be one of the largest motor yachts ever built in Turkey at nearly 1,400 GRT, and offers spectacular volumes.

Powered by twin 2,011 HP MTU 12V4000M63 diesels, the yacht will have a range of 4500 nm, and a top speed of 16 knots. She is scheduled for delivery in 2014.
