Benetti launches 65m Silver Angel & 45m Harmony III
Benetti is pleased to announce the launch of two new superyachts, arrival of the first hull in their new Imagination Line and an order book of which 75% is already sold, for deliveries up to 2011.
On Saturday 14 February the Viareggio facility did the honours with the launch of Harmony III, hull number 12 of the composite Benetti Vision line. From a style point of view the owners have opted for a sophisticated environment with the yellow and cream tones of the fabrics, the cherry glossy and flatted wood of the boiseries, a large use of precious marbles and the stylish steel details.
Harmony III will spend her first season in the Mediterranean before heading to the other side of the Ocean at the beginning of next autumn; to spend next winter in the Caribbean. As Benetti Vision n° 12 is waving goodbye to the shipyard, another sister ship is ready to replace her in the basin for the fitting phase at the end of which she will see her glorious launch as well.
Tuesday 17 February has been Livorno’s time with the technical launch of the new 65m, FB247, Silver Angel. She is the 14th superyacht build produced in Livorno in 2003, when the shipyard was acquired by the Azimut-Benetti Group. Another 4 superyachts will be launched from the Livorno shipyard in 2009, and another 5 in 2010.
The steel hulled Silver Angel, whose delivery is set at the end of April, is designed by Stefano Natucci, who also designed the interiors in collaboration with the London based studio Argent Design and the qualified Benetti team. 14 Guests are easily accommodated in 7 cabins: 2 twin, 3 double, 1 master and 1 VIP, and looked after by a crew of up to 18 people.
What is really impressive about Silver Angel, without any doubt, is the peculiar opulence of the yacht’s interiors: some 1.200 square metres of black glossy oak (800 of which is dedicated to the guest areas and 400 to the crew areas) and 700 square metres of marble: fine white onyx for the interior areas and travertine for the external areas.
The first hull of the new 47 metre aluminium Imagination line, reached Livorno on Thursday 12th February and is on schedule for delivery in 2010.
