Today saw the launch of the 68 metre Feadship superyacht Lady Christine at the Royal Van Lent shipyard on Kaag Island. Feadship hull number 801 features exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects with an interior by Rodney Black.
The owner’s cabin of Lady Christine is divided over two decks, and features a full-beam stateroom, separate his & her studies and half a deck up, a full-beam owners’ observation lounge and gymnasium. The main deck features the formal lounge, a bar, the dining room that seats twelve, and a beautiful cinema.
The yacht’s owner, who purchased the superyacht with the assistance of yacht broker Jonathan Zwaans of Edmiston & Company, is very experienced and has owned several yachts over the years, including an Oceanco and a smaller Feadship.
The Research Vessel (RV) Pegaso just made her debut in Monaco and gave the world a glimpse into her Global Mission for Marine Conservation. Her oceanographic capabilities are impressive: 5-person Diver Lockout submarine, Ice Class notation, 10,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, wet/dry laboratory, and separate scientist quarters. Read More
