Two aluminium superyachts were recently launched and delivered by Bertolini construção naval da Amazônia, located on the Amazon river in Brazil. The two sisterships, Eugenio and Gadean, measure 35 metres.
I spoke to designer R. Carlevaris, who explained that the two yachts were build for two business men from Manaus, and that the superyachts were built to navigate the Amazon river. Both yachts however, are fully equipped for navigation in the sea. Power comes from twin 700 hp engines, with allow for a maximum speed of 15 knots.
Eugenio and Gadean both feature luxurios and comfortable interiors, and they offer accommodation in 6 guest staterooms, with an additional 6 crew cabins.
The Beconal shipyard is currently working on a 26.5 metre yacht, built to go 27 knots.
