Yesterday Acico Yachts held the first of a series of seatrials with the 50 metre luxury superyacht Nassima. The much anticipated Nassima was launched only weeks ago, to an exterior design by Olivier F van Meer. She features a modern, yet timeless interior by Maja von Dewitz of VDP Studio GmbH.

The yard reported to SuperYachtTimes.com today that the seatrials went very well. The sea trail took place in flat water conditions on the Ijsselmeer. At low low rpm’s she was tested on vibration, sound and manoeuvrability and proved to show excellent results. With just 3.5 metre water depth Nassima reached 7,5 knots with engaged gear, and 10 kts at approximately 1000 RPM.

These very promising results show her strength as a long distance vessel. Now back alongside, further work and testing of systems will continue at the Acico Yachts ship yard untill she will be taken for her high speed sea trails on Monday, 20th August, followed by her delivery to Monaco in the beginning of September.

The luxury motor yacht is offered for sale through Jimmy Broddesson of Bluewater Yachting and she will be on display at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show.
