King K anchored off St Jean Cap Ferrat on 17 September 2007. King K, hull number 740, was built by Feadship Royal Van Lent & Zonen in 1981 as Carmac VI. In 1991 her original owner took delivery of a new 45m Feadship, Carmac VII, and sold his other yacht to an Italian who renamed her King K. The De Voogt designed yacht is currently for sale, as her owner bought the 62m Oceanco Lady Lola in 2004. King K is based in Nice and for sale through Fraser Yachts, asking $8,800,000.
