On the 25th of April Timmerman Yachts launched the first Timmerman 40, Kitty, in the presence of the owner’s representatives . The interior of the light grey hulled yacht was designed by René van der Velden in cooperation with Cannes based Larvor Interior Designers.
The modern classic interior is dominated by teak, American nut and different leather textures combined with antique furniture, modern lamps, Provasi, bathroom fixtures and accessories from Serdanelli. The interior was built by Sinnex, who among others also worked on the interiors of Dilbar, Maltese Falcon and Pelorus.
The DNV classed yacht has a range of 4000nm at 12.5 knots, making it possible to cross the Atlantic. She can accommodate 10/12 guests in 5 staterooms, served by a crew of 8.
Kitty will make her public debut at the 2008 Monaco Yacht Show.
The Research Vessel (RV) Pegaso just made her debut in Monaco and gave the world a glimpse into her Global Mission for Marine Conservation.
