By Maarten Janssen Enigma anchored off Cap d'Antibes The 74.5m Enigma (ex: Eco; Katana) was built in 1991 in Germany by Blohm & Voss. When launched, hull 956 was considered by many as the most radical superyacht ever designed and built. 17 Years later, she still ranks high amongst the worlds most futuristic looking yachts. Responsible for her warship-like looks is Martin Francis, who also designed the super explorer Senses, and the ultimate support vessel, Golden Shadow. Enigma's current owner, like her previous owners, keeps her as a strictly private yacht. |
