The latest launch from the German Nobiskrug shipyard, hull number 779, Jamaica Bay is currently undergoing sea trials in the Ostsee. The 59 metre superyacht was launched at the end of the year and following successful trials she will be handed over to her experienced owner.

Jamaica Bay is the third yacht with the same name for her owner. He previously owned a 51 metre Schweers motor yacht, now called Legend, and before that a 42 metre Amels superyacht, which is now called Tranquillity.

Both the interior and exterior styling of the classically lined Jamaica Bay are from the drawing board of Dutch designer Felix Buytendijk.
